President and Co-Founder

Bill began his career as a pharmaceutical sales representative with Johnson and Johnson, where he learned early the value of technical expertise and putting the clinician’s practice first.

From Johnson and Johnson, Bill joined KCI Medical where he quickly rose through the ranks to become Regional Vice President of their Home Care Program. It was at KCI that Bill first entered into the DME/Homecare environment and gained the sophisticated management expertise that characterizes SunMED’s corporate services programs today.

From KCI, Bill followed a mentor to MEDIQ PRN based in the Philadelphia region. As their Director of Business Development, Bill expanded into product development and the third-party payer arena.

Bill founded SUNMED Medical Solutions in 2002 with his partner Jane Rinn. SunMED is a direct outgrowth of the clinician support philosophy and management acumen that has driven Bill’s success. Since 2002, SunMED has grown into a nationally recognized provider of advanced in-home medical equipment.

Bill is a graduate of Bowling Green State University.

Vice President and Co-Founder

Jane oversees SunMED’s strategic marketing and new business implementation, as well as manages the firm’s manufacturer services and clinical programs.

She began her career in medical sales at a medical personnel staffing firm, before becoming a co-owner of a disposable medical supply manufacturer.

As a result of her expertise in wound care, Jane moved to KCI medical where she worked to allow the home patient to access the same high-end technologies used to treat wounds as in institutional settings. During this time Jane was responsible for introducing Negative Pressure wound Therapy to the PA and WV markets.

As Managed Care continued to grow, Jane accepted a position with Mediq PRN, the nation’s largest provider of movable medical equipment as their Director of Managed Care. She was responsible for contracting with insurance carriers for highly specialized equipment that was routinely used in facilities but was also needed by home patients.

Jane is a co-founder of SunMED Medical Solutions with her partner, Bill Lobosco. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.

Director of Operations

As SunMED’s Director of Operations, John wears a number of hats – most notably ensuring that the company runs smoothly and effectively across many of the major service programs. His operational expertise also offers considerable value to our medical supplier clients in his role as Director of the Supplier National Access Program.

Prior to joining SunMED, John was VP of Operations at a home health agency where in addition to managing operations, he oversaw the firm’s IT program and participated in senior level strategic sales.

John’s background in health care and particularly DME operations is deep, with manager roles in operations for a DME company earlier in his career. He has exceptional understanding of the value of customer relationships and the need to integrate operations strategy with meeting customer care needs.
