We're Accredited

	In March of 2007 SunMED became accredited by HQAA. HQAA accredits all home medical equipment companies and pharmacies that provide Part B billable items. Areas of focus in the standards includes clinical respiratory services, complex rehabilitation equipment, mail order companies, custom orthotics, retail operations, and delivery and setup with patients. HQAA also imposes standards that focus on billing practices that are accurate as well as quality management systems that are incorporated throughout an organization. Deemed status with Medicare was awarded to HQAA in November of 2006, allowing HQAA to accredit the home medical equipment companies in lieu of a site visit from Medicare. HQAA mission is to: Ensure standards of accreditation pertain to suppliers of Part B products Make the process an efficient use of time Make the process user friendly Make it cost effective The accreditation process is only one of the ways SunMED continues to improve the quality of our service to our customers and patients. 	SunMED carries a full line of Lymphedema pumps, off the shelf garments, custom garments, bandaging, and non elastic binders. We can supply any brand and are proud to introduce the latest innovation in Lymphedema garments; high fashion garments by LympheDIVAS. LympheDIVAS was started by 3 women, 2 breast cancer survivors and a fashion designer. Their goal was to create Lymphedema garments that women would want to wear. Life Savers
	Our Customer Service Representatives are often told “You’re a life saver” by a grateful Case Manager when we provide a unique product that they have been looking for. We hear it so regularly that we launched our slogan “SunMED, A Case Manager’s Life Saver” at CMSA last year. You may remember our beach booth staffed by Life Guards. We are now launching a series of Order Confirmation post cards depicting Life Guards. This is our tongue in check way of thanking you for your business and hopefully bringing a smile to your face.
